Supporting the Mission of the Gardens

Who are the Associates? We’re members of Selby Gardens who formed the original volunteer group in 1980 to bring attention to the new botanical garden in Sarasota, Florida. Thirty years later, the organization of some 100 members supports the Mission of the Gardens through volunteerism, special events, education, and ambassadorship.

Member meetings are held on the third Monday of the month, October through May.  Members receive a monthly newsletter and enjoy luncheons, programs, and fundraisers during the season.

Education – Selby Explorers (a mentoring program for local high school students), members' programs

The Marie Selby Gardens Associates is an allied organization open to Selby Gardens members. Annual dues are Patron - $100, Contributing - $50, Associate - $35.
